Job Description

Our client, a Health IT consulting firm, is seeking a MEDITECH Programmer for a 6-month engagement, possibly longer and possibly converting to permanent employment. Will be responsible for development, support and maintenance of enterprise clinical applications in a MEDITECH MAGIC environment.

Description:
Provide hands-on leadership skills for developing in MEDITECH MAGIC, Customer NPR, and Customer Defined Screens (CDS), including user-defined queries, group responses and attributes. This position will provide guidance and mentoring to others in completion of outlined deliverables in the MEDITECH clinical applications. The ideal candidate will also have skills in writing and deploying scripts using Boston Workstation or similar tools.

Key Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of programming experience
  • MEDITECH MAGIC development experience
  • MEDITECH Customer NPR reports development
  • MEDITECH Customer Defined Screens (CDS) development, including user-defined queries, group responses and attributes

    Desirable Skills:
    Interfaces with MEDITECH, Mainframe TSO, .Net, C#, Visual Studio, ASP and ASP.NET, Active Reports .NET, JAVA, HTML, SQL, Informatica, Business Objects, Relational Databases (such as SQL Server, Oracle or Teradata), Multidimensional Database (such as Essbase or SQL Server Analysis Services). All desirable but not required.
