Job Description
I am currently looking for a Director of Sales for my client; one of the worlds largest and leading suppliers of high performance, specialty nonwoven fabrics. Their nonwoven materials, which they develop, manufacture and market, are used in a wide variety of everyday products such as water filters, blood filters, industrial wipes, baby diapers, panty liners, fabric softener sheets, construction products and protective clothing to name only a few.

Position: Sales Director
Location: Tennessee
Reports to: VP of Industrial Nonwovens
Compensation: 110K 120K Base, bonus from 16.5% to max of 30% of base salary

Purpose / Nature of Position:
Responsible for leadership, coaching, development, coordination and management of Filtration & Engineered Products sales force, with overall accountability for meeting business objectives.

Responsibilities and Authorities:
- Develop, coach and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed profit goals
- Develop strong business relationships with relevant individuals, customers, and all levels of their management.
- Manage pricing adjustments, notifications, tracking of commodity indices, demand forecasts, and all other supply contract requirements.
- Provide timely and effective communication, including monthly reports, meeting reports, and conference call minutes, to management and support areas on customer news, issues, market position by product, opportunities and threats; interpret this information and provide business savvy recommendations on actions needed.
- Ensure sales force obtains monthly demand forecasts for assigned accounts.
- Facilitate interactions between our R&D/TS&D and customers counterparts related to current product servicing needs, future product development initiatives and qualifications.
- Develop and maintain strong relationship with our support groups of Customer Service, Business Analysts, TS&D, Operations Planning & Support, and Manufacturing.
- Develop and control S&A and the expenditures to budget.
- Forecasting and forecasting accuracy

Desired Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree, MBA a plus, technical degree preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage and grow business.
- International sales experience a plus.
- Nonwoven or roll goods experience strongly desirable.
- Ten years + of major business to business marketing/sales experience preferably in filtration, nonwovens or related industries.
